Handover of Robot Rudolf to Science Centre Delft. Rudolf is an autonomous Robot for indoor use. Interaction with visitors; usage as tourguide and explaining the different exhibits.
PrototypeHuman detection test of the indoor robot prototype.
For the development of a indoor robot, an indoor positioning system is needed. GPS-signals are too weak indoors, that's why other techniques are needed, like linefollowing, sonar, infrared, laser and RFID. A prototype robot is developed on which these techniques are applied. The first prototype is controlled by embedded hardware.
